The Way Forward is an opportunity for young men, aged 18-24, in Bradford to take ownership of their lives and their future. Through a bespoke 12-week programme, participants will take part in a range of activities designed to improve their skills, mental health and wellbeing, and employability. At the end of your 12 weeks, you will leave the programme with a new attitude towards your future, your prospects, your skills and yourself.
Join us and take the next step with our: pathways to jobs, education and training, free football and fitness sessions, and 1-to1 mentoring and mental health support. All of our sessions will take place in safe, welcoming spaces in BD8.
A loss of identity among young men in our city is a massive issue - we invite you to find that identity, as we all work together to find The Way Forward.
Bradford City AFC stars Bobby Pointon and Matt Pennington attended our graduation event for the programme, speaking to young men involved in the project about the importance of positive role models, and how physical activity can improve their health and wellbeing.

About the Sky Bet Building Foundations Fund
The Building Foundations Fund is in its second year and represents the largest multi-year sponsor-backed fund dedicated solely to community activity and the process offers the 72 EFL clubs a chance to bid for grants of up to £100,000 to invest in ongoing programmes or to develop new initiatives.
The EFL and Sky Bet agreed a record extension last year that saw the sports betting brand continue as the League’ title partner until the end of the 2028/29 campaign. The commitment to a community fund was an integral part of the extension agreement.
